The Study On Network Self-organization Of Rural Youth

Network management has become a new branch of social management. It is to analyzethe motive behind the internet participation of rural youth, as well as the approaches andfeatures of their behavior, besides, it also studies the pattern of their off-line activities and therelevant determining factors, all of this are significant to improve scientific level ofgovernance. In terms of this, the government needs to adjust its pattern, philosophy andobjective on management towards the rural youth self-organization on the internet, the core isto transform barely risk management to the comprehensive management, service andconstructions. In combination with needs from the government reform and development, toestablish an integrated network platform of active service depends on rural youth’sself-organization on the internet. The significant of this research is to support theestablishment of internet integrated platform for the government by provide generated dataand theories.This paper first describes the background of the topic of this article, research purpose,research ideas and the methodology with the literature review of domestic and abroad. On thebase of the first part, the paper mostly illustrates on the theory of self-organization, anddefines the concept of self-organization of rural youth internet network, then analyzes thepresent situation and characteristics of rural youth self-organization on the internet andexplains the rural youth’s self-organization mechanism and its operational rules by applyingself-organization theory on four aspects, the formation mechanism, organization pattern,management methods and operational mechanism. The next, according to survey data, theactivity patterns of rural youth self-organization on the internet is analyzed, and the main formof activity, frequency and scale of the activity are extracted as the dependent variables, amultivariate logit regression model are conducted in order to empirical analyze thedetermining factors of the activity pattern. In the last, based on the foregoing analysis andjudgment, it proposes the corresponding measures and suggestions to promote the healthydevelopment of rural youth’s self-organization on the internet.This paper fill the deficiency of the network self-organization mechanism, to perfectrural youth self-organization network management model provides theory basis and development path, and put forward the suitable for contemporary rural youth psychologicalcharacteristics, online habits, easily accepted by rural youth network self-organizing path ofscientific development and management measures.
