Research On Influencing Factors Of College Counselors’ Network Literacy In Chongqing

At present,the network technology is developing rapidly in the 5G era.Since the birth of the Internet,information with the Internet as the carrier has come to people,forming an intricate space for information acquisition,communication and dissemination,which takes individuals as the center and all kinds of application software in the Internet as the medium.The number of college students’ Internet users in China is increasing day by day,and the openness of the Internet provides them with a broader and more convenient learning and living environment.College students learn about the world through the Internet,and build connections with the society based on their interactive functions,thus enriching social life.College counselors,who directly face college students,are the backbone of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and play a vital role in colleges and universities.A group of counselors with dual identities,who use the Internet all the time,everywhere and everything in their work,also use the contact network as a part of the majority of netizens in their lives.The network is integrated into their work and life in a more three-dimensional and all-round way.At the same time,mixed network information,complicated network environment,and iterative and updated network technologies also follow,flooding into every moment when they get along with the Internet.This study takes the college counselors in Chongqing as the research object,refers to the existing research and makes a revision for this group,defines the connotation and dimensions of their network literacy,which includes four dimensions: evaluation ability,acquisition ability,analysis ability and creativity,and explores the demographic characteristics,network contact and network behavior of this group and their influencing factors on network literacy.Through the structural decomposition of counselors’ network literacy,it can be found that the scores of counselors’ network literacy are acquisition ability,analysis ability,evaluation ability and creativity ability in turn.It shows that counselors can use the network to acquire interesting knowledge and information,search for answers to related questions,broaden their horizons and expand their knowledge.Secondly,the group showed strong ability in understanding the meaning of network information itself,grasping the related things of related network information,and understanding the intention and purpose of network information.In addition,it also has its own advantages in reliability evaluation,objective evaluation of network information value and putting forward its own views on network information.However,based on the complex and demanding technologies and abilities required for creative ability,this group is more common in creative ability.It is embodied in expressing one’s own emotional views through the Internet,participating in topic discussions through the Internet,and publishing original online videos,audio and other online content.By analyzing its influencing factors,this study found that the educational background,gender,major category and working years of counselors’ demographic characteristics have a significant impact on network literacy.The age,time and frequency of online contact have significant effects on network literacy.Specifically,the acquisition ability of people who touch the Internet every day is significantly higher than that of people who don’t touch the Internet every day.The analytical ability of those who contact the Internet every day is significantly higher than that of those who do not.The creative ability of people who spend 4-5 hours and more than 6 hours using the Internet after work every day is significantly higher than that of people who spend1-2 hours using the Internet after work every day.Finally,the influence factors of network behavior on network literacy are investigated.Among them,the influencing factors of counselors’ network behavior from high to low are network information behavior,network work behavior and network learning behavior.Therefore,this study puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of demographic characteristics,network contact and network behavior to improve the network literacy of counselors.
