| A new round of middle school physics curriculum reform needs assessmentreform, it is particularly necessary to reveal the problems of current physics teachingassessment and explore new evaluation idea and methods. Authentic assessment, as arapid developing evaluation theory since the end of last century, has importanttheoretical and practical significance for our physics teaching.On the basis of sorting out the studies of teaching assessment and authenticassessment at home and abroad in recent years, this paper has in-depth theoreticaldiscussion of authentic assessment. As a product of the student evaluation theory,authentic assessment showing it’s diversified, complex, living and ecologicalorientations. Its authenticity appeared in context authenticity task, the consistency ofevaluation and educational purposes, assessment and human development. The thirdaspect of the authenticity is the most fundamental, the idea behind authenticassessment is that education should services for living people, makes every educatedindividual has better living conditions. Authentic assessment under this concept hasthe characteristics of authenticity, process, flexibility and integration.After the authentic assessment body has been discussed, this paper focuses onauthentic assessment in physics teaching. Authentic assessment reflects the humanismsteering and the pursuit of returning to daily life for physics teaching, meets theintegration of assessment and teaching, the scientific pursuit of physics teaching. Thisarticle shows the principles and strategies that the authentic assessment in physicsteaching should followed, the preliminary exploration of methods for authenticassessment applying in physics teaching. Question cluster, linguistic analysis andperformance tasks, in some instances, all use to explore feasible approaches.In the last two parts of this article, the survey and case analysis are used toanalyse the practice of authentic assessment in physics teaching. The survey is mainlyto show the situation and problems of the current first-line physics teaching evaluation.The case analysis use the concept of authentic assessment to provide some usefulinsights on physics teaching practice. |
