Fairy tale is the most representative and important literary genre in the field of children’s literature. As an important style in primary school language teaching material, its fantasy, personification, hyperbole, technique of expression, Not only completely accords with the characteristics of elementary student’s physiological and psychological development, but also to enlighten the students’ mind, rich imagination also plays an important role.Based on "the solid mass basis" of the fairy tale in children, and the deepening of the research on children’s literature, including fairy tales, the fairy tales texts have become the importance of teaching resources in primary Chinese teaching. At the same time, fairy tales teaching also gradually become an important area of research. How to make the texts most thoroughly show children’s spirit, how to make children more harmoniously blend into the fairy tale texts, and how to thoroughly excavate the humanistic essence which guide the student to grow in the fairy tales texts, which will be noteworthy problems in the fairy tale teaching and researching.At the conclusion of this empirical study and previous studies have found that teachers in fairy tales teaching progress are limited at the technical level, unable to deeply excavating the value of fairy tale, and don’t understanding the spirit of the children.This research based on the relationship with the Chinese language teaching and the fairy tales, and study on Chinese teaching theory foundation of the fairy tale in primary school, making the teaching of a primary school in Nanshan district of Shenzhen as an example. Investigated the status of primary school teachers and students of fairy tales teaching, analyzed some of the problems that exist and delve into the reasons. Offset and put forward some improvement from the perspective of teaching methods and strategies. Provide some ideas and methods for the progress of fairy tales teaching.
