The face of the traditional experimental teaching experimental insufficient capitalinvestment, laboratory instruments are imperfect and difficult to maintain existing equipmentbadly damaged and slow replacement, the limitations of the experimental time, monotonousform of teaching, the experiment is difficult to guarantee security and many other issues, thereformtraditional experimental teaching mode is imminent. With the development ofcomputer information technology and social science by leaps and bounds, the virtualexperiment teaching in a new attitude into the day-to-day teaching life, has brought newopportunities for experimental teaching. In this context, the intelligent virtual experimentalteaching platform system came into being, it as the starting point to the virtual experimentteaching basic platform, intelligent elements, to provide students with intelligent automationexperimental learning environment, more scientific and rational the goal of teaching andlearning.Today, knowledge is a hot research topic in the field of artificial intelligence and expertsystem technology applied to virtual laboratory. Knowledge representation, there are a varietyof knowledge representation into different areas of knowledge. How the course of theexperiment related to the instrument to select the assembly, the coordinates drug reaction,Experimental Procedure and the phenomenon of chemical knowledge of the experimentalreaction process clearly and accurately transforming into a computer identificationinformation is an urgent need to solve the difficulty in the virtual experiment, knowledgerepresentation will also be the focus of this study.Firstly, the basic concepts of the virtual laboratory and research status elaborate analysis,summed up the inadequacies of the current virtual laboratory. Then discusses the keytechnologies, such as knowledge representation and high school chemistry virtual laboratorysystem overall design, collected and analyzed the knowledge of high school chemistryinvolved, thereby establishing a chemical knowledge base, focusing on the establishment ofthe chemical laboratory reaction engine detail. After specific description of the virtuallaboratory experimental apparatus construction process, the final work on this articlesummarized, and future research prospects.
