As Lu Xun’favorite,“Kong Yiji” is one short story of the highest artisticachievements. And It has become China’s short story’ paradigm and the readingclassics of middle school students because of the short system, and profound meaning.After the new curriculum reform, classroom reading teaching of Chinese as the coretask also stood in the teeth of the storm waiting for the evaluation and discussion fromall walks of life.Based on the theory of reception aesthetics, this study collects of "Kong Yiji"accepting of the situation analysis in order to study the status of high school Chinesereading teach through three dimensions from the reference books editor, scholars andreading teaching during the time of nearly sixty years. And then some feasiblesuggestions have been given on base of the lack of reading teaching by writer.The paper is divided into four parts. the first chapter is the origin of study andtheoretical principle. as the core part, the second chapter is reviewing the defect ofChinese reading teaching in middle school through the accepting in middle school onthe story “Kong Yiji” during three stages, including the initial stages after foundingof PRC(1950-1976), the new period(1980-2000), and the years since the newcurriculum reformation (2001--),in one of which the short story has been inspectedfrom three angles, that is,the author the textbook writers and the reading teaching inclass,of which in the later the writer has mainly studied what to teach and how toteach. The third chapter is analyzing the accepting situation from above all. Throughthe analysis above, the writer has found two problems: one is lack of aestheticexplanation on the text; and another is lack of personal interpretation on the textbecause of relying too much on the teaching reference books and deviating theacademics. The reason is that different dynamic factors about explaining the textresult in different situation of accepting. Specifically, the explanation of scholars cango deep into the aesthetic aspect in virtue of demand of utilitarian purpose, but itmakes textbooks writers and classroom teaching ignore academic signification of thetext. The last chapter is that some feasible suggestions have been given on base of thelack of reading teaching by writer.
