With the rapid development of physics and wide use of related technologies, the basiceducation of physics faces new opportunities and challenges, which also put forward higherrequest for talents. As a student of compulsary education in physics, I should have not only asolid knowlege foundation, but also strong practical ability and scientific spirit. In order tolive in accordance with the high requirements of modern society, Professor Li Jilin hasfounded the situational teaching method. This teaching method is gradually accepted by theeducational world for its featuring in fully focusing on the development of students and thecharacteristic of turning learning actiivties into the demand of the students.I mainly for junior middle school physics textbook, published in October2006in theexperimental module to analyze and summarize studies on the experimental conditions usedin junior high school physics teaching. The article is divided into five parts: introduction, theoretical reflections on experiment-based situational teaching of junior high school, studentquestionnaire and analysis, situational teaching is characterized by the use of experimentalphysics classroom, the role and case analysis, as well as the teaching methods and the use offurther reflection and future prospects. The study found the teaching methods focus onscientific knowledge transfer and skills training, and pay attention to the students’ learninginterests and scientific cultivation of the spirit. In this kind of education background today, traditional teaching method has its owninherent value. However, in order to meet with the higher requirements of the curriculumstandard, situational teaching palys a role as the complement to traditional teaching and it hasits own unique advantage. I hope this research will help the physics teachers in junior highschool with the transformation in their teaching methods.
