The Study On College Students’ Cultural Self-consciousness Connotation Of Times And Its Realization Ways

Culture is a nation’s blood and spiritual home, and it is also the immortal source ofnational vitality, cohesion and creativity, which plays an important role in the comprehensivenational power. The party’s sixth plenary session of the17th has passed " the CPC centralcommittee on deepening the reform of the cultural system, promoting socialist cultural greaterdevelopment and prosperity certain major issue decision"(Herein after referred to as"decision"),clearly putting forward that cultivate the height of the cultural self-consciousnessand cultural confidence, enhance the whole nation civilization quality, strengthen the countrycultural soft strength, brings honor to the Chinese culture, and strive to build a socialistculture power. The eighteenth report of CPC also point out that setting the height of thecultural self-consciousness and cultural self-confidence to move forward grand goal of theconstruction of socialist culture power.College students, as a state future and a national hope,are shouldering the historical responsibility to make national rejuvenation and countryprosperity. At present, there are less studies on college students’ cultural self-consciousnessin academia.Besides, there is also larger space on the research level and depth of it. This papertries to reference the excellent research achievements of ideological and political education,especially related research literature between cultural self-consciousness and college studentsand youth, in order to explain the modern connotation of college students’ culturalself-consciousness and characteristics, interpret the realistic problems of college students’cultural self-consciousness,and explore how to make students form the correct culturalself-consciousness, cultural self-consciousness ability and cultural values in effective ways onthe base of comprehensive analysis of the literature material and empirical research.It is ofgreat theoretical and practical significance to pay attention to the college students’ culturalself-consciousness problems and to take effective cultivation and education measures, whichis also helpful to improve college students cultural literacy, promote the growth of collegestudents with better education, enhance social humanistic spirit construction and evenpromote the construction of cultural soft power.This paper is divided into five parts:First Part: Confirm the paper logical ideas on the base of combing and summarizing theproposed problems, research significance and research present situation of college students’cultural self-consciousness in our country briefly.Second Part: Analyze the relevant theoretical knowledge of cultural self-consciousnesscomprehensively, and define its connotation, its rational, times, nationality and practicalcharacteristics, and its practical significance.Third Part: The following four theories are theoretical basis of college students’ cultural self-consciousness: the culture theory of Marxism, the "human" integrated developmenttheory of Marxism, socialist core values system and "decision".This part also define thecollege students’ cultural self-consciousness connotation, believe that there are gradual,educational, inspiring and interactive four characteristics in it, and analyze the significancefrom personnel training, culture construction and how to raise the nation soft power.Forth Part: Investigate and survey the current situation of college students’ culturalself-consciousness practically, and analyze the situation from survey design, present situationdescription and existing problems three aspects.Fifth Part: Explore the effective and realizing ways of college students’ culturalself-consciousness, and study on it from target location, main principles and ways selectionthree aspects.
