The Research Of People’s Commune System And The Pattern Of Difference Sequence In Peasants’ Life

From1958to1984, the people’s commune system had existed for26years, andreconstructed the pattern of traditional Chinese rural society. This dissertation aimsto study in the process of reconstruction how the state power sinking into civilsociety, and the entanglement between state power and rural previous structure ofchaxugeju. Although the people’s commune system in rural society subverted thestructure and overturned the original pattern of social relationship and the allocationof resources, in the practice of the whole system as well as the execution of statepower in the whole procedure, it still could not get rid of a pre-existed structure andinternal logic. People’s commune movement to reinvent the peasants’ body and mindhoping that they can eliminate their narrow thoughts of farmers, which threaten theprompt of modernization, by propaganda of advanced thoughts and culture.Throughout the process, however, we discovered the destruction of the existinglife order style done by the system, as well as its crash when down to specificpractice. Originally harmonious and warm countryside based on geography,consanguinity relationship, with chaxugeju to which famers according led theirdaily life were organized to be a system. However, the institutional logic tried toreplace it. Unfortunately, in the whole process of vigorous exercise, we constantlyfound that farmers adopted the logic of chaxugeju to reason and live. The logic ofintimacy to real life ultimately maintained a leading position in their daily life,resulting that on the one hand it promoted the conduct and practice of the people’scommune movement; on the other hand it also reflected the tension between thespecific life logic and idea of institutional logic of people’s commune.
