Since the Twenty-first Century comes, China’s aging of population becomes moreand more seriously, the traditional way of old-age pension has been unable to meetneeds of the elderly. In recent years, the services of aged-care at home throughoutChina gradually developed into a new kind of old-age pension. But since the runningof this process, disadvantages exposed gradually. This paper attempts to discuss theway of making up the disadvantages of the services of aged-care at home through thesocial work perspective.The study included the following four sections.First, take out researching background, relative domestic paper research for theneeds and current situation of the services of aged-care at home and introduce theresearching ways.Second, analyze the demand for aged-care at home, as the basic of social workentered the services of aged-care at home. Then introduce the present developmentsituation of the services of aged-care at home, and keep forward the explanation of thesocial work entered the services of aged-care at home.Third, take Wuhan Baibu Pavion Garden Community for example to describe thepresent development situation of the services of aged-care at home.Fourth, from the related experience of foreign social work in the services ofaged-care at home, I think the government should construct the social and the policyenvironment for the intervention of social work, and take better changes on theservices structure of aged-care at home.This paper mainly starts with social work getting involved in service of aged-careat home, makes Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and the social support network theory asthe theoretical support, by means of field research to analyze advantages anddisadvantages of aged-care mode, and exploring localization and professional ways ofsocial work.
