In our traditional society, “raise children for retirement safeguard” is the main model of providing for the aged. However, with the gradual transition from the agricultural society to the industrialized society, the traditional family structure model of China has experienced great expects. As a result, China puts forward the diversified system of elderly care service“Based on the home care, depended on the community, and supported by the institutions” which has the purpose of remitting the problems that providing for the aged faces to the utmost extent. As the foundation of the social pension system, home care has carried out in different areas, but the current home care is too simple in form, and home care lacks professional personnel to manage and run, as a result, home care cannot complete its tasks vested by policies well. With the recently rise and development of the social works in China, its scope of practice has expended to many fields, gerontological social work is also an important link thereinto, many professional institutions of social work have undertaken the partialservice function of home care. Professional helping ideas and ways of social works have infused new blood to the home care model. Therefore, under this kind of background, studying the social works is meaningful to the infusion of the home care.The author chooses the City J and social work service agency L, taking the home care service of the social work service agency L for an example. Using the participant observation method, interviewing method to personally experience the case work, social work, etc professional methods in the appliance of specific practices, studying and analyzing the existing unique advantages of the social work in infusing the process of homecare and the remaining confronted problems, and in the end the author offers some constructive opinions for the social work in infusing the process of homecare according to his previous knowledge and the practical conditions.
