This paper is topromote the development of the type of table tennis team of Liaoning province reserve personnelplay, in a fast, healthy and balanced way through the survey on the status of the type of playtable tennis team of Liaoning province reserved personnel, analyzing its existing problems, andgiving the suggestion. It provides feedback information to the grass-roots work of the first line ofcoaches so that they can train the children in an scientific way, in order to transport more andbetter high leveled table tennis players to the national team.Using the method of expert interview and survey method, on the basis of resorting to a largeamount of literature, this paper makes a survey of the satatue of the type of play of reservetalents in Liaoning table tennis team, and counts and fines the statistics with mathematicalstatistics method.The results show that: types of play from the overall requirements of comprehensive, andthe individual requirements of the advanced and achievements. Atheletes’ types of play is veryimportant, which can adapt to a variety of pitches, improve the ability to deal with all kinds ofstyle and cultivate various style "comprehensive". However, the distribution of table tennis teamof Liaoning province reserve personnel play style is not reasonable, and the proportion of Chop Shot play, pen-hold grip type is less, and the result is not ideal. Fast loop combination attack isdominant, which won’t do good to the development of table tennis team of Liaoning province inoverall level.
