Standards for Physical Education and Health Curriculum are implemented in the country,marking the nine-year compulsory physical education curriculum reform in China has entereda new stage of development. Nearly a decade since the implementation, due to a variety ofreasons, many problems still exist. Subject to the thinking and understanding of materialconditions, teacher resources and other factors in the process of implementing the physicaleducation and health curriculum standards, there are many issues we need to resolve one byone, especially in rural primary schoolsAerobics activities in Standards for Physical Education and Health Curriculum, primary,are classified as the necessary content of knowledge and skills, the majority of the ruralprimary school PE teacher regard rhythmic gymnastics as the main content of aerobicsactivities in Sunwu country, but the actual teaching, does not fully reflect the due value of theaerobics activities required by Standards for Physical Education and Health Curriculum,which is worth that physical education educators in rural elementary school study the reasonsto find a solution to the problem.The study applies literature data, expert interviews, questionnaires, etc., investigatingand analyzing the aerobics teaching status, causes, and development policies. It is expectedthat research findings will be a valuable reference for better implementing aerobics activitiesrequired by Standards for Physical Education and Health Curriculum.This study suggests that: the situations of the implementation of aerobics in rural primaryschools is not optimistic, for example,teaching plans and do not matching, teachingorganizational forms and teaching methods being single, curriculum evaluation standard beingunreasonable, the situation of the students’ knowledge and skills to grasp being ideal. Leadersdo not pay enough attention to Standards for Aerobics Education and Health Curriculum, thedegree of teacher professional training is not high. The base for students’ knowledge and skillsis weak. Learning interest is not activated, teaching content and the lessons are not reasonable;Facilities are not p not perfect. Those are the main reasons why the situation to carry outteaching of aerobics is not ideal. Education authorities attach importance to implement therelevant spirit of Standards for Physical Education and Health Curriculum, strengthenteaching guidance, supervision and inspection to the aerobics, and organize sports teachers toparticipate in aerobics training, reasonably determining the aerobics teaching content to ensure the aerobics lessons, improving aerobics facilities equipment to encourage students to loveaerobics. All are the effective measures to promote the healthy development of aerobics inrural primary schools.
