At present, under the influence of the new social and historical conditions, thedevelopment of the contemporary football put more higher, newer, strict andcomplex requirements to the football referee. In this paper, based on xinjiang footballreferee status using interview method, questionnaire survey method, quantitystatistical analysis and data collecting methods of football referees of xinjiang to thebasic structure, knowledge level, business ability, selection, training, assessment-management process analysis and research on the data and documents such as, inorder to explore the reasons of xinjiang football referee team uneven level and theoverall quality. Though the study, suit the remedy to the case put forward thecorresponding optimization countermeasures, and to provide theoretical support forthe development of the referee team.This article through to visit xinjiang football referees association members, therelevant person in charge of the football referees in xinjiang participant data collectedby the questionnaire and other research found that:(1) Xinjiang football referee team as a whole is still relatively young age, inxinjiang is not up to the age of30international and national referees, age structurehas great development potential and space.
