Based on the survey conducted among604teachers in24primaryand secondary schools in Urumqi and Hotan about the knowledge difference. It isfound that the teachers are very different in some respects of the knowledgeacquisition, absorption and exchange. Low teacher qualifications and unevendistribution of resources are two dominant reasons for the difference. The third part is about the strategy for teachers to develop their knowledge. Ibelieve that improving the ability of developing teachers’ knowledge can proceed inthree dimensions. Creating a variety of teacher knowledge acquisition channels, combining the internal and external factors to promote teachers’ knowledgeabsorption and building platform for teachers to exchange their knowledge.
