The Change Of Human Relationship And The Mutation Of Farmers’ Relationship Network

Based on empirical investigation of two immigrants villages’ human relationshipphenomenon in the northeast, the paper draws lessons from gift exchange in flow ofgift"(Yan Yunxiang) of rural social relations analysis path by taking the way of casestudy, aiming to analyze structural changes, construction of the trends and nature ofchanges of local village farmers relationships by those tangible facts.Firstly, the author makes analysis of the structural changes of farmer relationshipnetwork through the changes of form and the alienation of function of humanrelationship. First, the farmer relationship network inner connection degree tends to befunctionally weak in association. Large quantity but poor quality relationships betweenpeople, showing a strong but fake correlation pretending close relation; second, therelationships between marriages, work and interesting groups are involved in thefarmers’ human relationship contact circles and there is a significant increase in theproportion of village cadres and the village elite group relationships network in workand interesting groups relationship; third, the structure of the farmer relationships arebreaking through village boundaries and geopolitical networks sustained by humanrelation are turning to the scattering pattern of divergence as the self-center and goingoutward.Second, the author analyses the construct trend of farmers’ relationships networkthrough the mechanism of human relationship exchanges and communication strategies.The study shows that the villagers put relationship by the marriage in the family systemin traditional geopolitical village; they use "deal with the relationship" and "drawconnection to connect different groups to establish human contact in order to seeksocial capital support outside the weak kinship relations and the construct of farmersrelationship network presents the trend of generalization in the lack of public ruleconstraints. Meanwhile, with the establishment of the market economy in the ruralsociety and rational principles penetrating in the rural life, selective constructrelationships and computational communication strategies enable the construction offarmers’ relationship network show the obvious individual rational characteristics.Based on the above analysis, under the social change background, the paper pointsout the nature of the farmers’ relationship network in local village shows a tendency that it has begun to change from homogeneity to heterogeneity, emotionality torationalization and public to privacy. And the author also indicates rational calculationrather than moral obligation pointed by Yan Yunxiang is more likely to be the dominantfactor of human exchanges in the investigation area.
