College Students’ Moral Self-discipline Problem Research

The goal of higher education is not only for the social culture and delivery havecertain professional knowledge and skills talents, more important is to should build upthe idea of high moral quality of citizens. self-discipline is the highest moralrequirements, training college students’ moral self-discipline is both an important taskof the ideological and moral education, and inevitable demands of contemporary socialand moral construction. Only improve the students’ moral self-discipline, the studentsreally for yourself legislation, and make the external ethics into their own internal moralrequirements, the moral can really play its role, and to promote the construction ofsocialist spiritual civilization.Morals self-discipline, is moral subject with the aid of the social law and naturalknowledge, identify social morals specification voluntarily, it is the good autonomousaction of self intrinsic to change external morals requirement, rely on our own innerbelief and conscience, conscience and active restrains own behavior to meet therequirements of social ethics. Morals self-discipline emphasize three aspects: Formorals, agree with external supervision regulation and self to legislate self, the honestwill of morals main part the assurance for hobby and desire. This paper combined withtraditional Chinese culture moral self-discipline analysis,summed up the collegestudents’ moral self-discipline in daily behavior performance:(1)According to whetherothers supervision environment the moral subjects behavior consistencyjudgment(2)Based on moral subject’s reaction judgment after moral negligenceappears(3)Based on the moral subject view and evaluation to the behavior ofothers(4)Based on moral subjects conscious of the relationship between the individualand others(5)Based on moral subjects behavior motivation for judgment. This paper through the questionnaire analysis the present situation of college students’ moralself-discipline, and the reason analysis from four aspects of family, school, society, andthe students themselves.Finally, this paper presents the countermeasures and suggestion to improve collegestudents’moral self-discipline:(1)Schools should give full play to the leading role in theeducation of college students’ moral self-discipline(2)Parents should set a positivemoral example, improve moral quality of college students (3)Society should promotethe theme, and create a good environment of moral education.
