| As one of the most visible signs of modern "education pathological", theunderachiever has become a major problem in the field of education. If theunderachiever were not transformed timely, it will be detrimental to the developmentof students’ personal health, affect the formation of a good style of class and studyatmosphere. Compared to individual underachiever, the backward classes gathered alot of problem students and accumulate more problems are greater danger. Thebackward classes will reduce the effectiveness of the teaching, become the negativeenvironmental factors in school education, and they are also the cradles that generatetroubled teenagers. Therefore, to realize the transformation of the backward classand the underachievers are the most important in school education.School education is an important part of education systems, class is the basicunit of school education, group work in school played an important role in solvingthe’ problem. The social work class is the variant of the school group work, it startsfrom the social work perspective, and service to all the students in the class, useprofessional values and methods to help members solve problems and developtheir potential. Previous studies mainly commence from the point of view ofPedagogic, this paper attempts to explore social work class that the form combinedwith the class education and social work method intervene to promote conversion ofthe backward in strategy and effect.This paper adopts the service method of social work class, planned and carriedout seven social work classes substantive activities based on the general problem ofa fifth-grade backward class in X school, to explore the application of the socialwork class transformed the backward class and improve underachievers’ thinkingand behavior. According to the observation, questionnaires and interviews, the socialwork class involved in transformation of the backward class was assessed from theimplementation, effects, and methods.Based on assessment and analysis of the activities, the conclusions are asfollows: the social work class made students’ learning and life have changed; The social work class play a positive role in transformed the backward class andunderachievers: in a short period of time, through the method of social work class totransform the backward classes on thinking and behavior, learning status had nosignificant effect, but some success in improving the class atmosphere. At last, theauthor proposes a few of discussion and reflection from the classroom design, therole of social workers, the effect of standards, the time to carry out, the relationshipbetween activities and teaching, and to explore the working methods and thelimitations of the social work class involved in transformation of the backward. |
