Based on the Uses and Gratification Theory as the framework, I investigated WeChatbehavior of college students group by using questionnaire. The main ideas of this study are asfollows: investigate the needs/analysis satisfaction forms/find the problem/counter planning.The paper started with the introduction of WeChat under the background of the mobileInternet. to lay the foundation for the whole research, I discussed the characteristics ofWeChat from four levels: platform, content, media, audience.First of all, I analyzed Social, emotional, individual development needs of the collegestudents WeChat user based on data. On the second, I explained its satisfaction, and someimpact caused by the using behavior.In the end, I put forward related suggestions from three angles whitch are product itself,users, and the policy makers, in order to help the improvement of the instant messagingproducts, to guide the correct use of WeChat, to help the government agencies improve theservice skills by using new media.
