With the continuous development of multimedia technology, it provides a variety ofinformation with teaching, and provides certain help to promote the teaching effect. However,there are many problems of multimedia technology for applying in the classroom, theteaching effect is not ideal. How rational application of multimedia technology in theclassroom is an issue of great concern to many researchers. Mayer proposed cognitive theoryof multimedia learning and confirmed the scientific and rational presentation of multimediainformation to facilitate learning. Multimedia information is presented scientifically andreasonably can help students of information processing, otherwise hinder the learnerinformation processing.The starting point of this study is the problem of the multimedia information presentationin primary mathematics multimedia classroom. By reading a lot of literature summarizes therelevant research status of multimedia information presentation.In the form of questionnaireof primary mathematics classroom multimedia presentation of the investigation and analysisof the actual situation. Analysis of the cognitive characteristics of the fifth grade primaryschool students and characteristics of the PEP primary mathematics textbooks. According tothe different representation and the role of knowledge, PEP teaching content of the fifth grademathematics book are classified. Based on the cognitive load theory, cognitive theory ofmultimedia learning,multimedia interface art theory, the characteristics of the various mediaelements combined with the characteristics of knowledge itself, and followed the principles ofmultimedia information design and the rules of multimedia interface art design, to design forPEP fifth grade mathematics book on teaching content, and apply them to specific teachingpractice and test the effect. I hope that this research can provide a reference for future studies.
