| Raised by Diane Sonnenwald in1999, the concept of information horizon refers to theuser locating an imaginary field based on the importance of the information resources theyneed, and the sources of information in order to place an imaginary space according to thetheir perception of the importance. Situation, status, social networks are the core elementsthat constitute the information horizon concepts. This paper introduces the researchsignificance and research status of information horizon theory, and summarizes the coreideas and academic contribution of the information horizon theory. The center chapter make asurvey and design mainly to the behavior of the access to information of college based oninformation horizon theory, and selected three universities and college students from theschool of arts living, science students and art students, and interview them for the order ofthe access to information resources when they encounter similar problems related to thecourse. Then conclude the preference of different class students that access to information byanalyzing the results of interviews, exploring their access to information laws, and drawingout the information horizon map. Finally, from three aspects of information domain, thispaper summarizes the influence factors of college students’ access to information act and putsforward some advice to college students and the actual service agencies for improving theability and efficiency of access information for college students. |
