| Explicit text accounts for a large proportion of junior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and cultivating and improving students’ ability to obtain information has become the focus of expository text teaching.After investigation,it is found that there are two problems: first,teachers lack corresponding strategies to cultivate students’ ability to obtain information from expository texts;Second,students lack methods to improve their ability to obtain information through expository writing.This article uses practical research methods to explore effective training strategies and methods for improving junior high school students’ ability to obtain information through expository writing,taking a class in Grade 8 as the research object,and the first volume of the Chinese textbook in Grade 8 as the starting point.The research is carried out from the following three aspects:1.Theoretical research.Clarifying the connotation of the ability to obtain information in expository texts refers to the ability to clearly position,compare and understand,comprehensively summarize,and expand the ability to apply information in expository texts;Clarify the key points of information acquisition in expository texts,determine how the problem framework can be applied to expository texts and improve junior high school students’ ability to obtain information,and organize implementation plans for practical research.2.Practical research.Firstly,it is necessary to understand the current situation of the teaching of expository reading in the eighth grade Chinese language textbook,and conduct a pretest on students’ ability to obtain information through expository reading through the middle school entrance examination questions;Centered around the problem framework,the concept of obtaining information from expository texts is integrated into different stages of the entire classroom,and teaching design is carried out based on the teaching design framework for the expository texts "Chinese Stone Arch Bridge" and "Suzhou Garden" in the first volume of eighth gradecc.3.Strategy summary.After practical research,summarize strategies for improving junior high school students’ ability to obtain information through expository writing,mainly including building a question scaffold for students’ interests,building a question scaffold for clearly positioning information,building a question scaffold for comparing and understanding information,and building a question scaffold for summarizing and expanding information.Through comparison of pre and post test questions and interview analysis,it can be concluded that question scaffolding has a certain effect on improving students’ ability to obtain information in expository texts,which has certain reference value for frontline teachers’ expository text teaching. |
