2012 London Paralympic Games, Chinese Sports Delegation Competitive Strength Of Resolution

The14thParalympic Games was held from Aug.29thto Sep.10th,2012in London,Great Britain, the original place of Paralympic Movement. China Sports Delegationwins231medals, and breaks45world records.95gold medals,71silvers and65bronzes, which is in the first place both in gold medal and medal tally. The majorresearch target of this thesis is the competition results of the delegation during thisGames. As a participant of the Games, the writer through the literature materialmethod, logical analysis, method of comparative analysis, and expert interviewmethod to analyze the results, athletes of delegation, constructive method ofdelegation, and process of extensive training and competition as well as prognosis inthe development of Chinese Paralympic sport, get the conclusions as follow:1.The competitive level of delegation is in international advanced level, at thepoint of number of scale, participated events and competition results, Chinesedelegation is in international leading level.2. Paralympic sports more balanceddevelopment in China. In all participated sports, athletics, swimming, table tennis,these three infrastructure sports continue to maintain a leading edge.11sports get goldmedals,12sports get silver in15sports.6sports ranked the first place in tally.Compared to2008Beijing Paralympic Games, most of sports had stable performanceand made progress to the results, Men’s projects a slight progress, women’s goldmedal in the contribution rate increased slightly.3.Delegation has reasonable structure,which made great potential. Total athletes is282, and average is26.2age. Athletesunder25takes relative majority, the vast majority is from21to30years. Delegationreasonable age structure, the share of all ages Gold medal athletes of all ages and theproportion of the total number of athletes representing the correspondence betweenthe proportion of the total number of athletes.Young players of delegation giveoutstanding performance. Athletes comes from28provincial units, which shows thebreadth and popularity Paralympic Movement. The selection of athletes from NationalParalympic Games plays an important role in plays to the ParalympicGames.4.Training, work organization participating powerful and effective measures to protect the force, outstanding achievements lay a solid foundation for the delegation.5.The athletic achievements of delegation still inadequate. Team sport is far fromsatisfactory. Severe disability sports should be improved. Point blank entries exist.The results of power lifting and judo have fell significantly and should be paysufficient attention.
