In the contemporary world, the trend of economic globalizationintensifies promoting the internationalization process in the whole world.The all-round communication in different countries’ political, economicand cultural fields has brought the internationalization of education.Therefore, the high education’s excellent performance in the tide ofinternationalization impels various countries making related policies inorder to improve the effect of talent cultivation. In2010,the Ministryof Education clearly puts forward in On Issuing the Summaries of NationalMiddle/Long reform and development of education Plans ofChina(2010-2020):Multi-level and broad fields measures should beconducted to enhance our country’s internationalization level. Thetalented persons who possess broad view, are familiar with internationalregulation and able to participate the international affairs orcompetition should be training. As the national training objectives, inparticular the target path of moral education, ideological and politicaleducation should not be absent, therefore, It has a stronger vision ofideological and political education from the international education.Over the years, the experts lanced the multi-angle, multi-levelexposition and practice in,the ideological and political educationinnovation and development issues, in order to achieve further enhanceand improve the effectiveness of ideological and political educationpurposes. However, with the increasing depth of China’s openness, thedevelopment of the ideological and political education should not onlybe based on the domestic development of the situation, more importantly,the vision should be devoted to look at today’s ideological and politicalthe development of education from an international perspective, the onlyway is the last word. However, how to reform the ideological and politicaleducation based on the international perspective? now which is not inline with the ideological and political education with internationalrequirements in Chinese ideological and political education? What is thedegree of internationalization of ideological and political education?And what kind of change in the relationship between ideological and political Education’s Internationalization and Nationalizationrelationship? These questions are worthy to be explored to promoteideological and political education under the background ofinternationalization of education.In this study, in-depth interviews, questionnaire analysis and othermethods were used to discuss the contents of the internationalization ofthe ideological and political education and the status of implementationin some universities in Guangdong, such as Sun Yat-sen University、SouthChina University of Technology, South China Normal University, GuangdongUniversity of Foreign Studies. Students in those schools become thesubjects which were studies through comparative analysis. And by the useof exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, independentsamples T-test methods such as data processing, finally the important andvaluable discovery are drawn.At the beginning, the dissertation reviews the internationalizationof higher education and the study of the ideological and politicaleducation and the status quo at home and abroad analytical commentary,and leads to the direction of the internationalization of the ideologicaland political education reform, highlighting the view that ideologicaland political education international development should root in thenationalization of the ideological and political education. Based on thestatus quo of the ideological and political education, the dissertationanalyzes the evolution characteristics of the domestic Taiwan and foreigncountries Ideological and Political Education, and puts forwardconstructive measures for Chinese colleges and universities on how tocarry out the reform of ideological and political education in the futurethrough the investigation and analysis of the ideological and politicaleducation internationalization topic of the four universities inGuangdong.The first part introduces the background of the study and the summaryof thesis’s home and abroad. From the international background of thedomestic and international education, education policy rooted in whatComrade Deng Xiaoping advocated--On Issuing the Summaries of NationalMiddle/Long reform and development of education Plans of China(2010-2020) education planning documents related to higher education proposinginternational proposition of the ideological and political education.This chapter explains that the ideological and political education canno longer be behind closed doors and must take the international road andleads to the concept of ideological and political educationinternationalization in the increasingly liberalized internationaleducation context. The research significance and research method are alsoelaborated.The second part introduces the concept of internationalization、the internationalization of education and internationalization ofideological and political education, focusing on the opportunities andchallenges of the ideological and political education in the context ofthe internationalization of education, finally summing up theinternationalization of education demands and direction of theideological and political education of guidance.The third part comments on the status of the ideological andpolitical education of college in developed countries and Taiwan,emphasizing on the characteristics of the ideological and politicaleducation of the Western countries like the United States, as well ascomparing to Taiwan and mainland China in the process of implementationof the ideological and political education superior Department.The fourth part consists of empirical research, elaborating thepurpose, content and design process of the study. which uses someuniversities in Guangdong as a sample and gains an understanding of thecurrent situation of the ideological and political educationinternationalization from students’ view.The fifth part puts forward the constructive measures of ideologicaland Political Education Reform and Development in InternationalPerspective through analyzing, summarizing the results of data anddiscussing the reasons for the current ideological and politicaleducation of international status quo.
