Disabled children mainly refers to the physiological, anatomical structure,psychological and mental state abnormal or loss, the loss of some or all of activities ofdaily living, learning and ability of social adaptation of children under14years of age.These children often have obvious difference in the perception, memory, thinking,language, character and normal childrenIn order to understand the life satisfaction of the disabled children’s parents, andthe related factors, in this study, hearing impairment, autism, mental retardation in threekinds of disabled children parents as the research object, using social support ratingscale,investigation of the psychological pressure of disabled children parents,simplifiedcoping style questionnaire, and life satisfaction index A, in the city of Changzhou,Changzhou day school for the deaf and the Smurfs children rehabilitation center,159subjects were randomly selected from the parents of disabled children, in order to havean in-depth analysis of the life satisfaction.(1) The social support which the parents of disabled children experience from highto low is: subjective support, objective support, the utilization of support. Objectivesupport which the workers experience is significantly higher than the migrant workers,farmers at home and only responsible to take care of the child’s parents; the lowerfamily income, the experience of the subjective support and objective support is lower;the subjective support which the single-parent families experience is lower; the lowereducation level, the experience of the objective support and utilization of support degreeis lower; and the social support and the factors were not significantly different in parentsage.(2) In the coping styles, the parents of disabled children tend to use more positivecoping style. Autistic children’s parents tend to use more negative coping style; thebusiness parents are more likely to adopt positive coping style; the parents who have theaverage monthly income tend to use more negative coping style. And in the coping way factors,there is no significant difference in parents’ sex, type of family and parents.(3) In the psychological pressure, the score which the parents of disabled childrenhave in the five dimensions of psychological pressure from high to low is: economicburden, family and individual, excessive protection, lack of sense of achievement, lifecare. Hearing impairment children’s parents in the pressure of excessive protection issignificantly lower; the father in the pressure of lack of sense achievement issignificantly higher; older parents in the pressure of excessive protection is significantlylower; the parents of the lower family income have the significantly lower pressure inlife care; While the psychological pressure and each factor have no significantdifference in parental occupation types and education level and family types.(4)In life satisfaction, parents of autistic children have significantly lower lifesatisfaction; the parents whose age is lower and higher have significantly lower lifesatisfaction.(5) Life satisfaction and social support especially positively have subjectivepositive correlation; there is significant positive correlation between positive coping andlife satisfaction. There is negatively correlated between the psychological pressure andLife satisfaction, and the negative correlation in personal and family, life care, excessiveprotection is significant.(6) Subjective support, excessive protection, psychological pressure havesignificant predictive effect in life satisfaction. Subjective support, excessive protectionand life care have a negative predictive effect.
