Many students have no chancefor practicing. The number of trainees is decreasing. Therefore, the development ofbasketball is blocked.(4) The facilities are simple and the filed can’t meet the demands of training. The rented field is expensive, time-limited and lack of facilities. It is unsuitable forchildren and imposes restrictions on their physical and mental development as well as the development of self-confidence.(5) The development of children’s basketball clubs in Urumqi is faster than it isin Qaramy. There is a large amount of information, rich resource and lots ofopportunities for competitions and the parents have more advanced conscious andideas in sports in Urumqi but the small area of Qaramy decides its shortage ofinformation and opportunities for competing and communicating which slow thedevelopment of clubs even the overall development of basketball in this city to alarge extent.(6)The attitude of athletes in Qaramy is negative than the athletes in Urumqi. It relates to the different motivation of training basketball. Most of the athletes inUrumqi are motivated by entering a higher school or majoring basketball whereasthe athletes practise basketball mainly for building up their body and fosteringinterest.(7)the majority of parents support for basketball training but the awareness ofthe importance of basketball training is not enough. Generally, the parents inQaramy have higher income than the parents in Urumqi, so they invested muchmoney in children’s training and show higher engagement and support in clubcompetitions than the parents in Urumqi.(8) The trainers’ teaching attitudes, professional skills and teaching contents areaccepted by athletes and parents. In comparison, the age of trainers in Urumqi ismoderate. They have more chances to take part in training course, get informationand communicate with others. Conversely, the trainers in Qaramy are older, theteaching content is obsolete and the chance for training is less.
