Carried out in XinJiang in recent years, many areas Uyghur-Han bilingualteaching mode, Mathematics is one of the important lessons of the Uyghur-Hanbilingual teaching. In the teaching of mathematics curriculum, teaching materialsusing the Chinese textbooks and Chinese as medium of instruction.However, such ateaching mode, the minority students’ math scores have been not ideal, also formed themathematics learning anxiety for many different reasons, many students in learningmathematics, especially in math when become nervous, always trying to avoid mathproblem, fear of learning mathematics. And, of course, in addition to the pressure ofsociety, family, or not appropriate learning methods, and the characteristics of themathematics itself, for Uyghur-Han bilingual born, whether there are other specialfactors affecting their mathematics learning, mathematics learning anxiety worse. Forthis situation, this research take the questionnaires, classroom observation, interviewsand other methods,Carried out further research on the status of the Uyghur-Hanbilingual students’ math anxiety, causes. On this basis, the mathematics teachers,bilingual teaching and bilingual students’ mathematics learning some suggestions.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:First, Analysis of Uyghur-Han bilingual students’ math anxiety. Uyghur-Hanbilingual students there are different levels of math anxiety, In particular in: do notlike math, recognizing the reality of less than learning mathematics, habits to avoiddifficult math problems, worried that they could not answer to the teacher’s question,afraid classroom teacher questions, worried that they can not fully understand what theteacher taught in Chinese to worry about. In particular, because of the language factorshowed more obvious symptoms of anxiety.Second, Uyghur-Han bilingual junior high school math anxiety causes include:mathematics very nature, language factors, the national economy and culture, learningattitude, bilingual math teachers teaching methods and behavior. In particular, thestudy found the language factor is the main cause of the Uyghur-Han bilingual juniorhigh school math anxiety.
