Because the special children have many differences in physiology、psyochology、intelligence、language,and so on.Teachers carry out Individualizedteaching according to students’ differences, which is the internal demand ofpromoting the all-around development of special children and improving the qualityof special education. Teachers are the leaders of class and the practicer ofteaching,teacher is the key factor of the practice of Individualized teaching.We shouldexplore teachers’ true view、practice to Individualized teaching,etc, which are the firstquestions for us to study.So,I made a two-month-long investigation in a special school of Gan Suprovince,I adopt in-depth interview method and participant observation method,analyse the special school teachers’ attitude、knowing and understanding degreetowards Individualized teaching、the influnce factors about the teaching,at last givesome suggestions to improve Individualized teaching.The study finds that:Firstly, different teacher on Individualized teaching takes adifferent attitude. Some teachers have positive and supporting attitude;some teachershave negative attitude;others’attitude change from hesitate and doubtful tosuprroting.Secondly, different teachers have different understanding on Individualizedteaching, most teachers fully make Individualized teaching mistake for one-by-oneteaching,some teachers have a little understanding but not thorough. Most teachersdon’t understand the principle and process of Individualized teaching,especially aboutthe IEP. Thirdly, only a few teachers practice Individualized teaching,and there aresome problems during the process.The gap between theory and practice ofIndividualized teaching is big.It is hard to practice Individualized teaching.According to the observation and interview material,I analyse the influncefactors of practicing Individualized teaching in the eyes of special school teachers.Firstly, the teachers are lack of the belief、professional knowledge and skills ofIndividualized teaching. Secondly,the teachers’ training is seriously hysteretic.Thirdly,teachers are lack of cooperation and communication. Fourthly, our country is lack ofthe hard and fast rules of national policy about Individualized teaching. Fifthly, the school leader doesn’t attach enough emphasis on Individualized teaching.Sixthly,economic condition limits Individualized teaching.Seventhly,the parents’ participatingin Individualized teaching is not enough. Eighthly, the students’ learning initiativeand enthusiasm is not high.Based on the find of the study, I give some suggestions to improve the practiceof Individualized teaching as the followings. Firstly, improve teachers’ professionalquality, enrich the design of Individualized teaching and standard the teaching process.Secondly, consolidate communication and cooperation among teachers. Thirdly,theschool leader should attach importance to the Individualized teaching, consolidate themanagement of the teaching and teachers, establish and perfect the teacher trainingsystem.Fourthly, pay attention to the training of parents’ participating inIndividualized teaching, promote the cooperation between home and school. Fifthly,motivate the students’ learning initiative in order to make them actively cooperatewith teachers’ teaching.Sixthly, accelerate the national legislation of theIndividualized teaching, advocate all the society to support Individualized teaching.
