Influence Of Campus Culture On College Students’ Accomplishment

Campus culture is the sum of a system including value system, code of conduct andethnics abided by school members and accumulated through a long term. It is theconcentrated reflection of the sprit and the atmosphere of the university, and the soul of theuniversity’s survival and development, which contains campus material culture, campusspirit culture, campus system culture, campus network culture and campus music culture.Campus culture has a great influence on ideological and political education, university’sreform, development and stability, and it is indispensable for college students’accomplishment. Campus culture plays an important role in leading students to fostercorrect overlooks on the world, life, values and a sound personality and ability. It alsocontributes a lot to the inheritance of excellent traditional culture, excavation of thenational culture and overall quality improvement of college students. On the other hand,due to the openness of campus culture and rapid development of market economy, campusculture is impacted by many aspects thus giving rise to many problems adverse to students’accomplishment.This paper took the campus culture of Agricultural University of Hebei as an exampleto investigate the positive effects of campus culture on college students’ accomplishmentfrom aspects by delivering questionnaire. An overall grasp of campus culture developmentof Agricultural University of Hebei was obtained, and problems existing in construction ofcampus culture were analyzed to explore the path conducive to the development of thecampus culture.The five parts of the paper are as follows:Firstly came the introduction. It mainly expounded the research background,significance and review of research at home and abroad as well as research ideas, methodsand innovation.Secondly, a brief overview of college students’ accomplishment was given as well asits connotation. The standard of college students’ accomplishment was assessed byanalyzing statics from questionnaire using SPASS software, and was examined throughfactor analysis by cartel maximum eigenvalue test. The results indicated that noble moral sentiment, healthy psychological quality, strong ability to learn and a good interpersonalrelationship contributed a lot to accomplishment of college students.Thirdly, a simple overview of university campus culture was presented as well as itsdefinition, structure division and function. Positive effects were analyzed from aspectsincluding campus material culture, campus spirit culture, campus system culture andcampus network culture.Fourthly, problems adverse to college students’ accomplishment were analyzedgenerally from the coordination of campus material culture and spiritual culture,systematicness, personalization, deposits, system construction and overall planning ofcampus culture.Then the path of campus culture construction leading to accomplishment of collegestudents was probed. Suggestions were listed as strengthening the construction of campusculture, overall planning, accurate positioning and prominent characteristic.The final part is conclusion. Main points of this paper were summarized as well as thedisadvantages, thus putting forward the orientation for further research.
