In this paper, a multicultural perspective,selection of Hanyuan County of Sichuan five Yi Xiang (Fort small Tibetan and Yi XiangYi Xiang, horse, Ni Yi Xiang Yi Xiang beauty, Wynn, Shun Yi Zu Xiang) as the actualstudy location, using the method of literature, the induction analytic method, interviewmethod, mathematical statistics and logical reasoning method and so on, this article usesthe literature material law, the induction analytic method, interview method,mathematical statistics and logical reasoning and other research methods, made asummary of the cultural characteristics of the nationality of the development of Yinationality tradition sports project in recent years, combined with the social backgroundof development situation, problems of the traditional sports of Yi nationality in areanalyzed, from the perspective of culture, ethnology, historical evolution, the basiccharacteristics of the traditional sports of Yi nationality, inheritance and development aswell as the various aspects of the influence on its development. Research shows that:The first，A traditional sports culture of Yi nationality, origin, inheritance anddevelopment of this nation of the geographical location, natural environment,production characteristics and customs are closely related. The unique production, lifestyle, unique folk customs, enrich the connotation of Yi nationality sports culture；multi-cultural blend, promoted the development of the traditional sports of Yinationality.The second, the traditional sports of Yi nationality, rich in content, diverse forms,competitive, dance classes, life skills and fitness entertainment sports embodies all thediversity of national and regional unity and Yi culture.
