Current Situation And Strategies Of Basketball Of Xinjiang College Minority Students Conduct

Abstract:As one of the important parts of university school sports, basketball-playing can bring us a lot of benefits, such as the fitness, entertainment, and collaboration,. Which also has a great effect on the development of the college students, physical and mental health, and the establishment of the concepts that "play sports in your whole life "and "health comes first".Xinjiang is located in the northwest of China,as a multi-ethnic region, there are47ethnic groups, of which13are permanent residents, like Voyeurs accounting for60%.Of the population,in Xinjiang.Therefore, the Minorities play an important role in the region’s economy and culture. The population of minority college student’s accounts on the basketball equally and closely affects the launching of the Xinjiang college basketball. So we did some researches in the optional basketball class, basketball major class, and the assessment, arrangement and measurement of the optional basketball class, and the current situation of the minority college students in basketball-playing.We also give some suggestions on how to improve minority college students’ basketball-playing skills. Here is the preliminary conclusion of the study; The launching of the basketball-playing among minority college students in Xinjiang is divided into physical education classes extracurricular activities and after-school training. All the physical education in Xinjiang goes in the way the optional classes. The course content is mainly based on the basketball theory basics and skills. Students usually finish their extracurricular activities on their own after class, which is lack of professional guidance from teachers. What’s more, after-school training is not systematic; The number of Han students who like playing basketball is far more than that of minority students, and so is the skill level. In the number of minority students to participate in basketball-playing boys are more than girls. There are few minorities in the group of top-class basketball players, especially in the women’s team; What sports that interest Xinjiang minority college students are volleyball,football and their traditional development of the basketball among Xinjiang minority college students are; students’inert, lack of interest in basketball, the leaning pressure and the tight schedule, the poor equipment, lack of extracurricular guidance from teacher.In response to these problems, here are some suggestions;First, improving the school’s basketball sports facilities and hiring more female basketball teachers in order to attract and guide more female minority students to play basketball. Secondly, we need to increase the publicity of the basketball knowledge skills events and other information, related to basketball in the school, and organize basketball contests at all levels to increase school basketball atmosphere.thirdly, basketball teachers are supposed to do some scientific research in basketball-playing of the minority college students, and increase their interest and desire in playing basketball in class.Fourthly, some professional guidance from teachers and sports organizations on their extracurricular activities are needed.
