In recent years, along with our country comprehensive counterpart support construction and development in Xinjiang, especially in terms of education, the colleges and universities increased enrollment plan in Xinjiang. Gradually, there are more and more Xinjiang minority students in the campus. As a special group, due to the minority students’differences of growth environment, their adaptation process will inevitably encounter some difficulties in new learning environment, especially the learning adaptability. It is not only directly related to the academic achievement of minority students, but also their future development and the higher education quality.As the writer’s college is one of the designated colleges by the Ministry of Education for supporting the higher education in Xinjiang, the writer is to undertake the teaching and management work. Communicating with the counterparts of other colleges, we find that the Xinjiang minority students’learning adaptability problems is highlighted. In order to do teaching work well and improve the quality, through the way of quantitative research and qualitative research, this paper is to take the200minority students from the3colleges in3cities in Anhui of as investigation objects and is to get down the related study by the means of quantitative and qualitative research methods. First of all, the investigation is carried out in3aspects by the means of questionnaires:urban environment, education teaching and students’own, and the results’reliability and validity is tested by the SPSS software and get the further understanding of the minority students learning adaptability; secondly, through a variety of ways, such as interview, observation and so on, the paper is to investigate all kinds of difficulties of the minority students’study and life and analyze their obstacles of learning adaptability. Finally, from the aspects of cultural discontinuities theory, basic education, preparatory education and CSP(Chinese for Specific Purposes) of college education, the paper is to make attributions and put forward the following suggestions:firstly, we should take multicultural courses as the goal to push forward the reform of course system; secondly, we should strengthen basic education and improve the quality in Xinjiang by assisting policies; thirdly, we should improve the management level and the quality of the preparatory education; fourthly, we should improve CSP teaching level and strengthen Xinjiang minority students’ language foundation; fifthly, the relevant colleges should guide the minority students to associate with the Han ethnic students.
