In recent years, China and Singapore are on a new round of curriculum reform, revi se and perfect the new mathematics curriculum standards. In this context, to carry out th e comparative study of the new mathematics curriculum standard is a realistic meaning a nd practical value. Over the years, Singapore in The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and other international assessment of achievement is outstanding, mathematics education of primary and secondary schools in a leading position in the wor Id. In one year in Singapore in2007completed the1~4grade of primary school mathe matics curriculum reform, remarkable achievements. These achievements attracted the publ ic awareness of the mathematics education in Singapore.Singapore and China have similar cultural roots, its achievements in elementary scho ol mathematics education in particular, the further development of the mathematics curric ulum reform in elementary school of China, is a very good reference. This article selects a new elementary school mathematics curriculum standards between the two countries as the research object, mainly adopts the literature method, comparison method and content analysis method, etc., from the elementary school mathematics curriculum standard of th e learn lesson period of division, development process, mark frame structure, curriculum ideas and objectives, curriculum content, curriculum evaluation standard, implementation a dvice, etc. A comparative study on several aspects.
