Lifelong physical ability is very important for the realization of sports intomiddle school students’ way of life. Since the1980s, the " Lifelong physical "education thought is put forward, consciousness and research on the students’ abilityof Lifelong physical gets serious attention of more and more y people.but how todevelop the students’ ability of life-long physical? Now how about the training ofstudents’ ability of life-long physical? About these problems is still our focus onphysical education at the moment. Therefore, studies on lifelong physical of studentability training has become the important content of the current reform of qualityeducation.This paper uses the literature material, questionnaire survey, expert interviews,statistics and other research methods to investigate present situation on training of thestudents’ lifelong physical ability of Shanghai junior middle school.the researchconclusion is as follows:1. Junior middle school students and PE teachers have higher awareness abouttraining of lifelong physical ability in the age of the students; Ability in different plate,the teacher think self-exercise ability is the most important, while students regardphysical cultural quality as the most important one; Most of the teachers and studentsare aware of quality of class teaching in the physical education playsing an importantrole in training of lifelong physical ability.2. In the aspect of knowledge, students be good at mastering knowledge relatingsports and safety, but be week at physical medicine, physiology and evaluation ofeffect after physical excise, etc; In the aspect of physical skill, ss be good atbasketball, GuangBoCao, rope skipping, shuttlecock and track and field, learningmotor skills in the application of extracurricular physical exercise level is low; Moststudents have positive attitude on physical education, with wide interest in sports, butdo not have specialty; Less than twenty percent of the students participate physicalexercise after school more than three times a weak. On the overallperformance,student physical cultural quality is low.3. Less than a third of the teachers have taught students how to design exerciseplan; Nearly twenty percent of the students design physical exercise plan, but theirmethods used are not exact; Half of the teachers taught students the knowledge andskills of prepation. students have stronger consciousness of preparing activities andweaker practical ability; Less students can master the method of drinking water Inphysical exercise; the teacher is emphasis on flexibility and coordination of teaching,students are emphasis on coordinate ability and the aerobic ability; Nearly half of thestudents’ physical quality in exercise method choice is wrong.4. In the aspect of control on body, ability of regulating the body to adaptcircumstance is higher than regulation ability of regulation body skill; In the aspect ofcontrol on psychological regulation, control ability of self-confidence and the abilityto control will quality are higher; In regulation of physiological load of physicalexercise, more than half students extend the time when they don’t feel tired, controlexercise by changeing transform of sports, shortening or extending the time. 5. The students’ consciousness of physical injury prevention is high, but low inability of emergency handling; Mainly ss use the common indicators to evaluate theirphysical morphology and physiological function.6. Teachers recommend to use Morphology determination to evaluate theefficacy of the exercise, while students give priority to the evaluation method aboutsize of load; the students judge physical action using the accuracy of exercisebehavior; Physical education is the main way to obtain the capability of evaluation.
