The group of medical graduates is a vigorous energy of national medical andhealth work. They play an essential role in terms of stable development of our state aswell as economy growth. Due to the annual increase of this group, harsh competitionin job market, impact from global economic crisis, along with the imbalancedeconomic growth among various regions in China and higher expectations fromgraduates themselves, employment pressure for college graduates are becominggreatly severe. The key to solve the problem lies in promoting their workingcompetence, which is critical to connect talent cultivation with society need; moreimportantly, it is crucial to reinforce national innovation and quicken the strategicadjustment of economy structure. College graduates of our times as a unique socialgroup have lived in a specific environment. Part of them have suffered frominferiority because of frustration from social life and growing surroundings, which hasbrought pains for themselves, their families, even school, thus hindered theiracademic study. Education of adversity quotient would help them acquire theappropriate self-assessment, form an overall view of life and eventually gain enoughconfidence to overcome inferiority, which is of great importance to developthemselves in adverse environment and relieve the pressure from job hunting.Purposes:1. This research different majors, different grade students’ employment pressure,adversity quotient, the differences between the inferiority complex;The employmentpressure of graduates, adversity quotient, inferiority complex relationship;Adversityquotient affect the inferiority of graduates employment pressure situations.2. This research of adversity quotient between the employment pressure and inferiority complex function theory to verify and supplement, is the health psychology,positive psychology and personality psychology empirical research complement andperfect.3. This research is common for college graduates employment pressure,adversity quotient, inferiority complex, the college graduates employment pressurebetween the empirical research.4. This research has analyzed the college graduates adversity quotient in dealingwith the employment pressure, maintain the role of the psychological health level, canprovide theory basis for college graduates employment psychological guidance, toenhance the pertinence and effectiveness of his work, also can enhance the practice ofadversity quotient to graduates of college of intervention to provide theoreticalreference.Objects and Methods:Objects: Nursing and clinical majors of Changchun Medical CollegeMethods: This research is based on questionnaires, which is further divided intothree sections: Questionnaire of College Students’ Inferiority, Employment PressureQuestionnaire of College Students’ Employment Pressure, AQ(Adversity Quotient).Total number of questionnaire is1030, the effective ones934, recovery ratio90.6%.Results:1. Diploma students of different majors are in varying level of adversity quotient,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05), the difference is not obvious in terms ofemployment pressure.2. Diploma students from various grades have marked difference in adversityquotient and inferiority, which is of statistical significance(P<0.05), while thedifference of employment pressure isn’t statistically significant(P>0.05).3. That employment pressure for female students is a bit higher than malestudents is of statistical significance(P<0.05); although the level of males’ inferiority isslightly higher than females, there is no significance in statistics(P>0.05).4. There is marked difference on adversity quotient, inferiority and employmentpressure among diploma students of various census register(P<0.01);there is difference on inferiority and employment pressure which are influenced by thefollowing factors: whether frustration has been experienced or not, what the averageacademic performance in each semester is, what the household financial condition is,what types of high school they attended, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05); parents’ occupation has impact on employment pressure and adversityquotient, also statistically significant(P<0.05); the roles that diploma students playin their classes has contributed to difference on adversity quotient, while no markeddifference to employment pressure and inferiority (P>0.05);there is difference oninferiority and adversity because of the reasons for choosing majors, which is ofstatistical significance(P<0.05); household financial income has resulted in thedifference on employment pressure, and the difference is of statistical significance(P<0.001). No marked difference has been found in other aspects.5. There is a positive correlation between inferiority and employment pressure,which is of statistical significance(P<0.01),while an inverse correlation betweeninferiority and adversity quotient, which is also of statistical significance (P<0.05),a inverse correlation between employment pressure and adversity quotient, which isalso of statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. Diploma students have higher adversity quotient and lower inferiority, andthe pressure for employment is relatively small.2. As for diploma students of different majors, grades and genders, level ofinferiority, employment pressure and adversity quotient is various.3. Diploma students’ inferiority is influenced by census register, reasons ofchoosing majors, academic performance each semester, what types of high schoolthey attended, how to respond to frustration as well as parents’ occupations, monthlyhousehold income; census register, parents’ occupations, their positions in class andreasons of choosing majors have impact on their adversity quotient.4. There is a positive correlation between inferiority and employment pressure;an inverse correlation between inferiority and adversity quotient; a inverse correlationbetween adversity quotient and employment pressure.
