Investigation And Study On Educational Practice Of Xidaotang And Its Referential Meaning To Education Of The Hui Nationality In Gansu Province

Gansu is a multi-ethnic province located in the west of China. Muslim as an important member, its cultural and economic development is an integral part of Gansu economic and cultural development. Today, there are some worrisome problems in Muslim culture and education. Lagging Cultural and education constraint improving the overall quality and accelerating the modernization process of the Hui nationality.How to develop better scientific education when we inherit the traditional culture is the problem author trying to solve in the text. Xidaotang origin in Gansu, explaining、 developing and expanding the Islam in Chinese cultural pattern, taking cultural education and collective economic development as its duty, known as a domestics Islamist group conform to the trend of our times. It based on the native, combines the traditional Chinese culture and the teachings of Islam, taking faith as a link to unite different surnames, different nationalities, different kinship Muslims, forming a big Muslim family with religion, economy, and culture. From the founder of Xidaotang Ma Qixi founded Venus private school, till the today’s national education development performance made by chancellor of Lintan ethnic schools Ming shengguang Imam, it is easy to see that they attach importance to the cause of education of the nation and their love to own nation. Pay attention to national education is a major factor of their success, but also notable feature and fine traditions of Xidaotang. due to Xidaotang Originated and developed in Lintan county Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, its geography, natural conditions and the historical cultural background has a certain similarity with Hui nation in other areas of Gansu. So its successful practice of education for Muslim education has more actual reference meaning in Gansu. This article takes perspective of anthropology, studies education development model of the Xidaotang, depends on current situation of the Hui education in Gansu, analysising practice reference meaning of this model for Hui education in Gansu.
