In the new period, with the rapid development of socialist market economy, the higher education has made great progress. The in-depth development of higher education socialization has brought the infinite opportunity for the colleges. At the same time, it is challenging to do a good job of higher education in the new period and to cultivate excellent college graduates. The flourishing development of colleges must make the campus culture and the student associations of colleges prosperous. Based on the research of student associations of colleges, this article is of great importance to cultivate excellent college graduates through developing the educational function on the college student associations.This article begins with the background and significance of the research, then reviews the domestic and foreign relevant research and describes the main research methods and innovations.Afterwards the article summarizes the educational functions on students’ association.
