In2004Ministry of Education annouced (High School Biology Course Standard)"Standard" with basic principle ’Emphasizing the connection with real practice’. Biology science is closely related todailylife,healthcare,environment protection,ecnomy activities in human society.Standard is aim to emphasize the biology education in real life backgroud, to advise students to deeply understand the core concepts in biology science while solving practical issues, and to operate the biology principle and methodology into public affairs or self decision-making process. In the meantime, it pays more notice on helping students familiarize the options of relating career and education so that they could be prepared for further learning or working.It suggests life-oriented instruction, i.e. biology teaching should come from and get into real life. Since the deep influence of exam-targeted education, there is pervasive trend of disengaging practice in high school biology teaching. Students are passive to receive information and get frustrated on self-learning, due to duck-feeding education. The normal pyscological characters of high school students are virtual,detailed and sensitive. The implementation of life-oriented instruction is feasible based on their life experience accumulated before.The essay analyzes some cases in teaching Biology and points out the misunderstanding in life-oriented Biology teaching in Senior High School. According to the teaching cases, the author researches into the strategies of life-oriented Biology teaching to senior high students from the following five aspects:utilizing their life experiences as a teaching resource, selecting life-oriented teaching content, desighing life-oriented teaching situations, using scientific language and giving life-oriented homework. This article proves the feasibility, actual effect, and value of reference to high school on-class teaching of life-oriented education in practical investigation aspect, by using several cases from experience of high school biology education.
