Since the reform and opening up, along with the transformation and upgrading of China’s economic and social development, various social problems and contradictions are emerging. The campus violence occurred frequently as one of the important social problems in China, and some of them even caused serious impact on society. Campus violence has become the focus of all walks of life. Therefore, strengthening the study of the causes of school violence and its preventive countermeasures become the imminent problem of the education in ChinaThis paper adopts the questionnaire survey method, interview method, observation method, and the literature method. Based on collecting data through consulting literatures, absorbing the existing outstanding achievement, and the questionnaire survey and interviews, first-hand information is collected to consolidate the basis of research. Methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis on the high school campus violence problems and the prevention countermeasure are adopted. In view of the various causes of campus violence, this paper focuses on the influence of campus violence in secondary schools, school factors and preventive measures. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the causes from the perspective of the school and the counter measures, enrich the campus violence research theory. What’s more important is to enhance the prevention of school violence through this study. It also aims to help the Chinese middle school to become aware of the risk of the school management and class management flaw and insufficiency, and fully realize the school undertakes in the prevention of school violence and the measures should be taken, and that the high school is the main position for the prevention of school violence, but not blindly emphasizes the responsibility of family and society. At the same time, through this research, general high school teachers and students should fully understand the causal relationship between the characteristics and campus violence, and enhance the consciousness of reducing violence to build a harmonious campus.From the aspect of school violence’s concept, types, characteristics and harmful influence, this paper studies the macro level management, the class teacher’s micro management, teachers’and students’behavior to analyze the school violence and its prevention measures. From the macro level, the school evaluation system deficiencies, lack of campus culture construction and genesis of school curriculum and the development are explored. In class management level, this paper mainly studies deficiencies of teacher’s class management, lack of education and class collective activities and the informal group management,and puts forward the counter measures. From the aspect of teachers, teaching method defects, teachers’ psychological health and teaching ethics are studied to explore the causes of campus violence. Teachers should strengthen law consciousness of teachers, teach according to the law; change the educational ideas, and strengthen moral cultivation. The related departments and schools should pay attention to the psychological condition of teachers, reducing teachers’ pressure to prevent the school violence caused by teachers. Finally, in the student’s level, this paper mainly studies the cause of school violence from the psychological and cognitive characteristics of the students, study stress and interpersonal perspective, and advances some countermeasures. For example, students could enhance mental health awareness, improve their psychological quality; the sense of self-protection, the self-protection ability and the endurance of setbacks, and learn to reduce the pressure, etc.One of the main innovation of this paper lies in the detailed research on the school violence. This paper studies the relationship between school violence and the macro management, class management and characteristics of teachers and students. The second innovation is that some comprehensive campus violence preventions are put forward. Both the school macro prevention measures and preventive measures of class management are attached great importance. Meanwhile, this paper also analyzes violence prevention measures and violence reduction measures from the aspect of teachers and students. The study expands the study of the research in this field, enriches the campus violence theory, and puts forward the feasible measures of prevention, which has great significance for violence prevention. Because of the author’s limited experience, material and data, this paper on campus violence is in the primary stage. The author will continue to explore and study from the experts and scholars to deep the research of this topic and provide more practical measures to the prevention of school violence.
