With the development of the times, probability knowledge more andmore attention by people, the new round of curriculum reform, as theprobability of an important content of high school mathematics both incontent, or in the presentation are many changes. Great changes in theprobability of textbook, raises many questions: some of the changes? What isthe purpose of these changes? Reflects what education?Based on the integration of old and new textbooks, column setting andother aspects the probability requirements, teaching content, teaching, exercises, from the organizational structure of the information technology andthe curriculum are compared, a detailed analysis of the differences betweenthe new and old textbooks part of. The new textbooks pay more attention toreflect the three-dimensional teaching objectives, compared with the oldtextbook is especially prominent process and method goal, pay attention to theprocess of knowledge formation, pay attention to the students’ knowledge andunderstanding of the new textbook; a large number of students participating inthe experiment, to explore the teaching activities, give full play to thestudents’ main body function; new textbooks probability statistics theory, solve the problem of life using the method of random simulation requirements, pay more attention to training students to discover problems, proposed thequestion, analysis and problem solving ability, pay attention to the cultivationof students’ good learning habits and awareness of innovation; the newtextbook system "approach using spiral", accord with human cognitivecharacteristics and law of somatopsychic development; probability ofintroducing set language was developed and the links between eachcomponent is convenient for the representation of events. By comparing the new and old textbooks probability part, can see thedevelopment of new textbooks pay more attention to students’ ability. Thetextbook changes requires teachers to change educational ideas, give full playto students’ subjective role; pay attention to experience the process, letstudents experience the pleasure of success; mining mathematical facts, infiltrating the mathematics culture; use of multimedia technology, betterservice for teaching.
