Probability and statistics are derive from mathematics and different from mathematics. It is a mathematical knowledge system summarized in life, and also the most practical knowledge. Therefore, learning probability and statistics can not only exercise the students' ability to sort out and analyze data, but also cultivate the students' ability to abstract and summarize mathematical models from real life, and to apply mathematics in the future.Continuous learning will lay a good foundation."Probability and statistics" was born in the 1970 s in the high school mathematics curriculum, and their content is becoming increasingly perfect after curriculum reform and development."probability and statistics" have become one of the leading roles in the high school mathematics curriculum.Based on the mathematics textbook of senior high school. The paper studies the evolution of probability and statistics content since1970 s by literature method and comparative method. The main content of this paper is as follows:First of all, based on the development history of Chinese mathematics curriculum since the 1970 s,the "probability" part of high school mathematics syllabus(Curriculum Standard)since 1963 is divided into four stages: the enlightenment stage, the transition stage, the development stage and the maturity stage;the "Statistics" part of high school mathematics Syllabus(Curriculum Standard)since 1996 is divided into two stages: the enlightenment stage and the development stage. The paper mainly analyzes and summarizes the development rules and evolution characteristics of "probability and statistics" in various stages.Secondly, based on the teaching requirements of "probability and statistics" in the high school mathematics syllabus(Curriculum Standard),aimed at the high school mathematics textbook, the characteristics and reasons of changes are studied in aspects of the structure arrangement of specific content, chapter head chart andintroduction, relevant concepts and properties, the setting of examples and exercises, reading and materials. Finally, the development trend and evolution characteristics of "probability and statistics" in high school mathematics textbooks since 1970 s are summarized, and some targeted suggestions were put forward in teacher teaching based on the conclusion of the study.
