With the rapid development of China’s civil aviation in recent years,large number of civil aviation enterprises appeared and the scale wasenlarged. The chain of passengers and cargo transportation and tourismindustry has become one of the most active, labor attracting and professionalindustry. Based on the strong need of human resource in civil aviationservice industry, many vocational colleges and secondary vocational schoolshave set the aviation service programs. Aviation service becomes one of thenew hot programs. Baotou service managetment vocational school is theonly one which is tertiary industry and modern service oriented secondaryvocational colleges, it set the program in2010. However, there ismisplacement between the goal of the education and the industryrequirement. The lack of professionalism and working skills led to the braindrain. This paper deeply analyzed the problems exist in the training programof Baotou service management vocational school, and then provided somesolutions for improvement.First, this paper clarified the fundamental purpose of secondaryvocational education, analyzed the characteristics of secondary vocationaleducation and summarized the major training model established by domesticscholars. Comparing with the mature training models in other subjects, theexploration of the training model in China is still in its primary stage.Then, the thesis described the current status of talent training system incivil aviation service, took the example of Baotou service managementvocational school, analyzed the problems existed in its training system: first,the cultivation target was obscure with more relatively high and mixedobjective; second, the curriculum does not focus on the cultivation of thestudents comprehensive vocational ability and professionalism; third,“practice-theory integration teaching pattern” has not been well-understoodand fulfilled. The teachers’ professional skills, teaching quality and schoolhardware facilities need to be improved. There are only a small number of professional teachers,"Double quality" teacher, and the teachers from theenterprises. Fourth, the faculty structure did not meet the required standard.Finally, the paper provided some optimization methods for the furtherimprovement of the talent training of civil aviation service providers. First,establish more clear training objectives based on the market demand andairline company, airport and air transportation agency oriented. To cultivatethe professional persons with primary management ability and correspondingskills who are suitable for positions in airport terminal and ancillary services,aviation and aviation-related services, aviation security, aviation groundservices, air travel, air catering service. Second, reconstruct the curriculumsystem with the core of the vocational ability cultivation, reinforce theteaching method reform, adopt “Working and Learning Alternation “methodto enhance the students’ practicing quality, introduce vocational eligibilityevaluation criteria to strengthen the students’ job skills development andtraining. Third, strengthen the cooperation between the enterprise and theschool to strengthen the enterprise role in the talent training. Fourth,strengthen the cultivation of "Double quality” teacher, invite moreprofessionals from enterprise to build a diversified faculty.
