Northern Dynasty folk song "Mulan" is one of the most outstanding representative work ofChinese classical folks, and it’s perfect art form, positive and healthy thoughts and feelings areloved by following generations. Since Chinese was set up as a separate discipline,"Mulan" hasbeen selected into the high frequency textbooks, its typicality was fully embodied. However, thepresentation form of this election has made significant changes since the period of the Republicof China. By exploring different compile appearances and presentation forms in differenthistorical periods, the author tries to perceive the differences in curriculum guidelines,curriculum design, teaching preparation, teaching methods, learning styles, etc. in differentperiods, reflecting the impact of socio-political, economic, historical, and cultural changes toChinese education, which can provide historical reference and compilation suggestions to theteaching and textbook writing in modern stage.The introduction part discusses the research origin, literature review, research content,research significance, research methods and the definition of core concepts, clarifying the overallunderstanding of this paper.The first part reviews the historical compilation overview "Mulan", presenting its case ofbeing selected into texbooks during the Republican period, the early days, the new era, theperiod of compulsory education, and the new curriculum standards period. In addition, the papersummarizes the main features of presentation forms in various periods. By combing through thispart and thinking, the text face and reader systems, practice and evolution of "Mulan" in variousperiods can be presented clearly. Meanwhile, the author conducted a comprehensive explorationof its political and cultural factors behind the rheology. This part is the study of the rheologicalbasis and premise.The second part choses more representative set of textbooks of each period for the study.There are totally five sets, namely the Republic of China Commercial Press (1931-33edition)high school textbook "basic textbook Chinese", after the founding, the four sets of textbookspublished in1961,1978,1993and2001by People’s Education Press were taken as an example for four respective stages. By vertical combing of the class-before tips, notes, chart systems andexercises in these five sets of textbooks, the content and evolving process of help reading systemand practice systems in "Mulan" are showed in detail. Meanwhile, the author analyzed andevaluated each part. This section is the focus of its rheology.The third part summarized research findings and makes recommendations on how to writetextbooks based on the carding and analysis of the above two parts. The research findings aresummarized from three parts: a text presentation should be designed to follow scientific principle;text presentation design should pay attention to the development of the student bodyconsciousness; language presented in the form of text should have the flexibility of adaptation.Besides, the compilation recommendations are discussed from the pre-course prompts, notes,illustrations selection, exercises design, and the research suggestions of writing and presentationin textbooks are proposed in this part.
