The kayak is one of the Olympic Sports Programmes. Since2004, Chinese women’s kayak has achieved dramatic improvement. Despite the fact that Chinese women’s kayak lost by0.136s and thus ended with no medals at all, our team has the potential to be a top team in the world. At present, quite little research has been done by insiders on women’s kayak, which made the existing training plan lack of reference. This article aims to reveal the regular patterns and characteristics of women’s kayak team’s training plan for the Olympic Games, to monitor the training plan combining biochemical criterion and training effect to analyze the implementation effect of the training plan, and thus to make the training plan scientific and systematic, providing an important reference when training plans are required for women’s kayak team to prepare for some significant competition. Those who act as research objects in the article are members of Chinese Women’s kayak team who have finished their preparation for the London Olympic Games. The process of the research can be divided into four periods:winter training, plateau training, preparation for the World Cup, and sprint for the Olympics. Research methods applied in this article are measurement, mathematical statistics and secondary data analysis. Research results:1. Winter training:In the respect of biochemical criterion, by testing the independent sample t, it can be seen that the index of blood urea, hemoglobin and serum creatine kinase all show significant variations before and after the training. Each week, within a normal range, the amount of blood urea and serum creatine kinase is on the rise, while the amount of hemoglobin is on the decrease. The fluctuation accords with the load intensity and load capacity of the training plan. In the respect of training effect, members of the team have heightened their paddling effect, acclimatized themselves to the training plan and enhanced their body reserve. Therefore, the training plan of this period is proved to be rational.2. Plateau training:In the respect of biochemical criterion, laterally, the amount of blood urea has gone through great change, while that of serum creatine kinase and hemoglobin appeared relatively stable. Vertically, the amount of serum creatine kinase rose and fell in a wide range, and the amount of hemoglobin began to rise since the third week. As the training plan gradually intensified, the content of blood urea changed less obviously, and the plateau adaptation of serum creatine kinase and hemoglobin was relatively slow. In the respect of training effect, their performance in250m training has not obviously improved and either does that in500m training. Zhou adapted to the plateau quickly, while others seemed to adapt to this situation in a relatively slow way, which hindered the enhancement of their ability of their body.3. Preparation for the World Cup:In the respect of biochemical criterion, the content of serum creatine kinase has changed dramatically but the content of hemoglobin and blood urea kept stable. All has shown the trend of decrease. For several weeks, the content of hemoglobin and serum creatine kinase of Zhou didn’t reach the target. As for the other two members, their function state didn’t match the training plan. Considering the fact that training in this period gave priority to allocation, it is possible that the leveraging process resulted in the discrepancy. In this stage, most members in the team were able to adapt themselves to the training plan, and they could recover and keep in a competition form. In the respect of training effect, the rationality of the plan has been proved by the improvement of their performance in250m and500m’s competition, the increase of rate of stroke, as well as their good performance in the World Cup. The stimulation of the body has been obviously increased, and the adaptability of the team members was also enhanced. In this particular stage, appropriate adjustment of the allocation practice is required in the training plan so as to strengthen the coordination in women’s double kayak. 4. Sprint for the Olympics:in the respect of biochemical criterion, the content of hemoglobin greatly changed before and after the training while the content of blood urea and serum creatine kinase kept stable. The content of hemoglobin was on a declining curve, while the content of blood urea and serum creatine kinase was on a rise. The intensification of training has made an obvious stimulation on their body, with the strong functional response and advanced competition ability. In the aspect of training effect, the performance of500m’s multiplayer competition has improved significantly. In the first half of the course, resistance training is needed to enhance the training effect. The pre-season training plan is proved to be reasonable and members of women’s kayak can fit in well and maintain their best statues before the competition. The improvement was especially obvious in the first half of the competition, and the resistance kayak. Our team should be given more aerobic endurance training in the second half course.Research conclusion:The plan for winter training is proved to be reasonable and team members are able to accomplish the training tasks. The plan for plateau training is need of a slight adjustment so as to help athletes to fit in as soon as possible and enhance their aerobic endurance. In the stage of preparation for the World Cup, members of women’s kayak team enhanced their body ability and they became more adapted to the game tempo. The training plan for this period is appropriate. Therefore, it is supposed to make a slight adjustment to women’s double kayak practice. In the stage of sprint for the Olympic Games, athletes’function states have been improved remarkably. The plan for intensified training is proper, and members can quickly adapt themselves to it. When members of the team competed in the Olympic Games, the improvement of performance in the first half of the course is particularly evident, which indicates the fruitfulness of the250m resistance training. While there is still a gap between the performance of our team and that of the champion team in the second half of the course, so the aerobic endurance training should be given more emphasis. |
