India is a society of strict social caste system. The scheduled castes are a kind of people who is out of the caste system. They have been under the oppression and the abuse of the community for a long time, therefore the chances of education is much less than the other castes. To protect the right of vulnerable groups to educate and the promotion of social justice is the hot topic in the whole world. In order to make the scheduled castes have the equal opportunity to be educated, the Indian government formulates a series of polices and programs and Reservation Policy is one of them.In this paper, the literature analysis and statistical analysis are the main research methods. This paper can be divided into five parts. The first part is introduction. This part depicts the reason on this subject, and defines some main terms, and introduces research methods. The second part is the description and reason of scheduled castes in India, and analyzes the Reservation Policy in Indian. The third part introduces the education of scheduled castes and the supportive policy on education of scheduled castes that Indian government has made. This part introduces the situation of elementary and higher education in scheduled castes respectively, and depicts the specific policy on supporting education of scheduled caste. The fourth part analyzes the success and failure of Reservation Policy, and put forward the countermeasure of Reservation Policy. The fifth part is conclusion.
