Empirical Study Of Factors Influrncing Postfraduates' Reservation Wage

With the development of China's higher education,the "elite education" is gradually developing towards "mass education ".On the one hand,more students have the opportunity to enjoy a better education,on the other hand,it brings more employment issues.In our country,the youth employment phenomenon has always been the focus of various scholars,and they analysised this phenomenon from all aspects,such as economic growth,industrial structure adjustment,and other aspects of education enrollment,the reservation wage of postgraduate students is an important index to reflect their employment expectations,then,how to determine the reservation wages of postgraduate students,what factors affect their reservation wages ? These all need further analysis and exploration.First,this paper studies some related theories,such as reservation wages,human capital theory,career search theory and the theory of labor market segmentation,providing theoretical support for the normative analysis of factors influencing postgraduates 'reservation wage.Secondly,this paper analyze the influencing factors of postgraduates ' reservation wage in theory,dividing the influencing factors into four parts: personal characteristics factor,human capital characteristic factor,labor market characteristics,other factors,and assume that the four parts factors affect their reservation wages.Again,this paper build reservation wage model based on the survey data.and analyze the four factors empirically,then check and amend the reservation wage model,Finally,through theoretical and empirical study,this paper analysis the reasons why postgraduates reservation wage are so high,and provide some corresponding suggestions from three aspects of government,schools and postgraduates.
