The Research On Training To Promot Social Integration Of Migrant Workers

Along with our country industrialization and urbanization process accelerated, a large number of rural surplus labor transfer to the city and township enterprises to obtain employment, and then formed a special social group--migrant workers. Due to the overall quality is not high and lack of the necessary job skills, they encountered many hardships from the countryside into the cities. At the same time, a series of social integration problems are produced. As the main force of city modernization construction, the solving of their social integration issue affects not only their own interests, but also the whole China’s social and economic development and the building of a harmonious society. The Chinese government attaches great importance to migrant workers’ social integration issue, and has published a series of policy measures to safeguard the rights of migrant workers’ city life, and the local government carry out the policy actively. How to promote the migrant workers’ social integration is still unavoidably the pressing task at present.The function of training in promoting vulnerable groups’social integration is confirmed by an investigation in eight European countries. The Grundtvig project against Marginalization which is funded by the European commission published a report, Does adult education make a difference?——the results of a survey in eight European countries. This report fully affirmed the role of training in promoting vulnerable groups’ social integration. Professional training enhances migrant workers’ professional skills, improve their occupational competitiveness, and finally make it as soon as possible into the city’s economic construction and development process. Cultural training could encourage migrant workers to obtain information of urban culture, understand cultural differences between each other, and break down the barriers between them, and finally form the necessary cultural identity and common value orientation. Psychological training makes migrant workers understand the forming mechanism of psychological problems; understand the psychological problems of countermeasures, so as to alleviate their psychological pressure. Through strengthening the interaction of the training, meet the needs of migrant workers social interaction, so as to improve communication tendencies between migrant workers and urban residents. Training, it is imperative to promote the migrant workers’ social integration, and a new way to solve the problems of migrant workers. Therefore, the research on training to promote social integration of migrant workers has become an important subject in the field of adult education and even education.This research takes Wucheng district in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, as an example. Through the form of questionnaire and interview, I try to understand the current situation of migrant workers’ social integration, to understand the basic situation of training to promote social integration of migrant workers. On this basis, I have put forward related countermeasures to promote migrant workers’social integration through training. The culture and skill training to migrant workers, helps them improve their work ability, improve the quality of life, to speed up the steps of social integration.This research can be divided into four parts:The first part mainly explains the related concepts of migrant workers’ social integration and analyzes its theoretical foundation.The second part survey the current situation of the migrant workers’ social integration and the basic situation training promote the social integration.The third part analyzes the influence factors of training promote migrant workers’social integration on the basis of questionnaire and interview data.The fourth part provides effective suggestions of the training to promote the migrant workers’ social integration.
