High school geography education is basic education, reform of basic education in recent years include the development of curriculum standards, adjust the structure and content of the curriculum, integrated curriculum resources development and utilization, development and utilization of the most important of the21st century, and the materials are presented the basis of these acts. High school geography curriculum standards enacted in2003, as a standard, there has been a standard of the "situation, has appeared in Hunan, Beijing, Shandong prepared four sets of materials were referred to Gordon, PEP, in the illustrated and Lu teach version, in order to meet the requirements of most parts of China. Four different versions of geographic materials into different regions experiment in order to get a better implementation strategy.Paper selects one of the two sets of textbooks-PEP and the Gordon version of the high school geography compulsory as the research object, based on the theory to analyze and understand the contents of the two sets of textbooks and contrast materials, from four aspects:teaching materials the degree of compliance with the new curriculum, different teaching material contents frame structure differences, differences of different materials graphic structure differences and case activities to carry out the analysis of these two sets of textbooks.The first part is the Preface. From the research background, significance, current research and research strategy to elaborate on the subject of social value and practical significance.The second part is the theoretical basis. Curriculum theory of structuralism, humanistic curriculum theory, cognitive theory and communication theory.The third part of the study geography textbooks of different versions of the new curriculum differences. This part of the three comparative studies, different content, different learning styles and learning different feedback above.The fourth part is a comparative study of the two sets of textbooks frame structure, in this paper shows the PEP, Gordon version of the high school geography textbooks Compulsory2directory, and then to compare the similarities and differences of the textbook framework for the directory.Compare the two to the fifth part of the unique style of teaching materials, unique style style of graphic style and case textbooks and student activities, described by these two aspects of the commonalities and differences of the different versions of textbooks in style.Finally, the Conclusions and Recommendations.Through research, concluded as follows:(1) From the degree of compliance with the new curriculum, the two materials distinct characteristics and have different, but its fundamental purpose and core expression of a new curriculum requirements of modern citizens and students, and in accordance with their own unique way to interpret this.
