Because of its "pursuit of culminating welldoing" in absolute value, cultivation can make the individual break through external and variety obstacles, and thereby realize his growth and freedom as well as give birth to harmonious social relations. Besides refers to a nation, ethnic group can also points to some transnational groups attached to the given tache upwardly or down to the secondary and divided groups belonging to the same nation. Ethnic intercourse mainly refers to the social interaction among diverse groups, which reflects the status of relationship among ethnic groups. Since ancient times, cultivation has been playing an important role in promoting ethnic intercourse and fusion. As the vital power of cultivation, colleges in the ethnic area are leaved with the great expectation by the social parties to promote ethnic relations. As a pluralistic ethnic institution, there are six nations in the given college in the southern Xinjiang province which point to the Uigur, Han, Hui, Kirgiz, Kazakh and Tajik. The situation of ethnic intercourse in the college can be described in the index system as follows.(1) The use of language and character:Bilingual teaching is carried out, and Chinese is used in management occasion on regulations. While the choice of language is based on the care value orientation to promote communicate in informal occasion such as daily life and so on;(2) Religion and custom:The ethnic groups in the college can be partitioned into two circs. One is that the transnational group holds Islamic religion and abides by the relevant customs which is consisted of the Uigur, Hui, Kirgiz, Kazakh and Tajik, another is that the Han members generally are atheists and hold no clear religious or cultural taboos. The attitude between each other is respect regardless of understanding;(3)The pattern of division of class, work and inhabitancy: College students are partitioned into classes and dorms and supervised by their ethnic status, while the staff are not instructed. However, the latter come spontaneously into combination on ethnic status in division of work and inhabitancy.(4) Deep intercourse types:The proportion of members is low who make friends with heterogenous ethnic, and there are intergenerational and ethnic differences on them. Exogamy is rare, and currently it’s hard for the exogamy to break through the ambit and make scale-up in a certain period of time which is limited to the common religion and culture.(5) Ethnic identification:It contains two levels and types. One is identification for the ethnic status; another is identification for the department and class that he belongs to. They are existing interlacedly according to the scene rather than independent of each other and fixed. However, the former predominates both in the component, degree and influence. The ethnic intercourse in the college is overall stable. But there are also some disharmonious factors, such as ethnic barrier, ethnic prejudice and discrimination as well as efacto inequality at varying degrees. The current model of ethnic intercourse in the college is "corporate pluralism", which presents a binary opposition definition structure between the coexistence and separation. The ethnic acculturation gives birth to coexistence, whenas the structural difference among the ethnic groups leads to the separation and even antagonistic trend of ethnic relation. Based on the fact that the identification for college culture and "normal college member" among every ethnic groups forms and is gradually consolidated,"unity with diversity" could become the feasible blueprint for the construction of harmonious ethnic relations in the college. The approaches are put forward as follows to realize the blueprint from the perspective of cultivation. Firstly, implement multicultural education and actively respond to the situation of cultural differences. Secondly, create a harmonious campus and construct the organizational atmosphere for the harmonious ethnic intercourse. Thirdly, get rid of ethnic prejudice and discrimination as well as advocate the symbiosis and harmony with diversity in the ethnic intercourse.
