National Football League is the biggest professional footballleague in the world, and it has been established for over90years. From the newlyestablished unknown to the world’s most popular sports today, the NFL hasexperienced many changes and development. Which, the cooperation with the TVmedia can be regarded as the most influential development of NFL.They promote anddeveloped with each other. NFL bring more audience and advertising revenue to theTV broadcasters, and the TV broadcasters also advertise for the NFL. So the study ofthe broadcast of NFL has its significance.The study based on the broadcast of NFL, using the theories of literature material,simply introduce the basic broadcaster and related law to the American professionalsports broadcast. By accessing to information and data analyzing, conclude the TVrating, advertising revenue and the cost of the broadcast.The results of the study show that,from the day NFL cooperated with thebroadcasters,the contract of NFL broadcast rights had became the objects for everybroadcasters, the broadcasters did not hesitate to bid on incredible money for NFL.indecades, the price of NFL’s broadcast rights has been continued to record. And NFLdid not let the broadcasters down, it has a very high TV rating, and being in the top ofthe rankings of the major television ratings. The good relationship between NFL andthe broadcasters creating a win-win situation today.Although Chinese professionalsports broadcasting develop very fast, due to the late started, there is a lot of room forimprovement.Chinese professional sports broadcast can learn from the United States’ssports broadcast,Increase the number of broadcast media can enhance the competitionbetween the media, can promote better development of China’s broadcasting.
